This hostel has some if the kindest owners I have met in a place like this. They welcomed me warmly and spent time answering my many questions and giving me ideas to enjoy in the city. It is a great choice for a quiet night in or to come back to sleep after a night out in the Old Town, which is an easy 10 minute walk away. The facilities are nice but the one issue is the lack of bathrooms. There are not enough bathrooms unfortunately you can wait a while for your turn if itu2019s a time where many people are u201ch
Fantastic hostel. Loved everything about it. Very clean, the most friendly staff I have ever met. They make you feel so welcome & are extremely accommodating. The wifi is extremely fast. The beds are so comfortable & all have 3x power outlets each. Shower has amazing pressure. The location is fantastic, close walk to anywhere youu2019d like to go. Very big common area for meeting other travellers. Security system at the door is great. Felt very at home & relaxed in this hostel. Will be back soon

as many other reviews have mentioned, the showers really are what they say they are. Massage shower and clean toilets... what else could you wish for. The staff was really, really nice, helpful and welcoming. I checked in at about 21.30, tired from the day's travel and the host even gave me a beer on the house, when I started whining like a little girl about how much I need a beer. Even though I stayed only over night (I was leaving on the next day), the owners made me feel very welcome.Tnx
Carman and Fernando were some of the best hosts I've had traveling across Romania and Europe. Believe it or not, the common room is air conditioned and so are the dorm rooms in the evening. This is fabulous in 43-degree celsius summer weather. There is no cooking in the kitchen. There is a refrigerator and free coffee in the morning. There are also plates, bowls, silverware, and a sink and drying area for the dishes.
Big easy-going common room makes it a great place.
The location is 1.5km from the centre of Old Town but this is good for Bucharest. I stayed in the 12 bed dorm but it was very spacious, clean and had 2 good AC units so despite it being 35 degrees it felt cool and it didn't feel like a 12 bed dorm. The showers were fantastic, the best in any hostel I've stayed in. The owner was fantastic and gave good info about what to do and where to eat. The common area was great and encourages guests to talk. If I come back to Bucharest I'll stay here again.
As our initially booked hostel was closed (possibly due to problems within pandemic period) a friend and me chose Mil Pasos to stay for 3 days in Bucharest - and it was a very good decision.
Fernando and his wife were very friendly, communicative and helpful. Interior is in perfect condition, AC works fine, beds (mattresses) were super - so we slept very well. Everything was clean - including kitchen and bathrooms.
You have power connector, light a and small bag at your bed to put all your daily belongings, which is a big benefit
The location itself in the Bucharest is perfect, as all important inner city spots are very close and therefore in walking distance.
We were very happy to stay here and would definitely recommend the Mil Pasos.
Fernando was very helpful with recommendations and information about Romania/tourist attractions. He also helped with car rental recommendations. He was extremely patient with booking changes. He was conversational and inviting. The place is very nice, organized and modern. I would definitely come back.
A great hostel in a central area located within short walking distance to the main tourist attractions. Hosts are wonderful and the best thing about the hostel, always happy to help out in any way, and just downright fun people. Hostel is a bit less on the social side, but everyone was friendly and kind. Good enough facilities and showers, and great view to eat breakfast from. Would recommend again.
This is a very nice place to stay in Bukarest. We recently stayed there with 19 students from Denmark. The place is new and clean and the location is just perfect in walking distance to old town and other places of interest. Just across the street you'll find a shoppingmall with supermarket, shops, restaurants and cafés. First of all the hosts Fernando and Carmen is extremely friendly and helpful, and staying at Mil Pasos feels like returning home after a long day in a sometimes hectic city. We highly recommend staying here.
